APPRENTICE BOILERMAKER

x 1 AM Shift Position

• Learn Boilermaker / Fabrication skills
• Become a 1^st class welder with Mig, Tig and Arc Welding
• Learn Gas cutting and Plasma cutting
• Learn to read plans and create drawings
• Learn General Fitting skills
• Learn design, problem solving and analytical skills
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain records
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Workshop and work area cleanliness
• Work a reasonable amount of overtime when required
• Meet company safety and quality standards at all times

APPRENTICE FITTER

x 1 AM Shift Position and x 1 PM Shift Position

• Learn Fitting Skills
• Learn Machining Skills, Lathe, Mill etc
• Learn Basic Hydraulic and Pnuematic Skills
• Learn to read plans and create drawings
• Learn Basic Welding Skills
• Learn design, problem solving and analytical skills
• Maintain records
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Workshop and work area cleanliness
• Work a reasonable amount of overtime when required
• Meet company safety and quality standards at all times
