Business Traineeship – Frankston City Council

 

Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with the Frankston City Council, are looking for an enthusiastic, well presented and motivated individual to join their team.

 

Commencing asap, the successful applicants will complete a Certificate III in Business.

 

Tasks will include:
  • To provide general administrative support to the team
  • To ensure quality outcomes for clients with a focus on duty of care, ethical standards, timeliness and efficiency
  • Perform a range of administration tasks, rostering bookings and customer service for various teams
  • Arrange and minute meetings, including room bookings
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with relevant legislation and submit data and reports within acceptable timeframes
  • Using information provided by Project Managers, maintain and update Councils Internet and Intranet sites with particular emphasis on community information and works progress.
  • Arrange for printing of material for community engagement, signage and arranging catering for events.
  • Perform other administrative duties and provide administrative support as required

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Be well presented
  • Have attention to detail
  • Possess a positive and professional attitude
  • Hold a practical knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Possess good verbal and written skills
  • Require a current working with children’s check
  • Require a current Police check

 

This full-time position will be for a duration of approximately 12 months.  Further employment is a possibility after the traineeship is complete.
