Westvic staffing solution in collaboration with D.S.B  Quality Homes – Hamilton, are looking for a fit, go-getter to kickstart a carpentry apprenticeship journey

This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career as an apprentice carpenter with DSB Quality Homes , a leading residential construction company based in Hamilton 3300. As a 1st / 2nd Year Apprentice Carpenter, you will work alongside experienced trades to develop your skills and expertise in all aspects of carpentry and building.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting with the construction and installation of various structures, including framing, flooring, cladding, roofing and general site duties
• Learning how to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
• Developing proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
• Participating in on-the-job training and attending vocational education classes
• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
• Studying a Certificate III in Carpentry

What we’re looking for

• A genuine interest and passion for the carpentry and construction industry
• Strong problem-solving and practical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to learning and a willingness to work hard to develop your skills
• Drivers Licence preferred but not essential
