Business Systems Traineeship – Bass Coast Shire Council
New for 2025, delve deep into the heart of the organisation in this systems-focused traineeship. Support the Business Systems team with documenting and tracking systems incidents, assist in creating and reviewing work procedures and play a role in planning and executing system implementation projects. Develop your knowledge of our Council operating systems so that you can troubleshoot issues for our workforce. This is a hands-on role that will see you making strong connections across all departments.
- Full-time 12-months fixed term

Start your career with the Council in one of our 12-month traineeships, where you can explore different pathways, gain credible experience, build connections, make friends, and achieve an industry specific Certificate III qualification in either Business Administration, Information Technology or Live Production & Technical Services – all while getting paid!
This year, we are partnering with Group Training Organisation Westvic Staffing Solutions, to offer 8 exciting Traineeships, including new placements for 2025. Each Trainee will experience real-life work scenarios in their chosen area of interest. There will be exciting projects, exposure to systems and processes and real Council customers and community members to assist.
