As a Koorie Education Administration Officer you will work as a member of the regional Koorie Education Workforce responsible for the implementation of the Marrung Aboriginal Education Plan 2016 – 2026. You will support the Koorie Education Workforce to facilitate and managing the delivery of programs for Koorie children and young people through early childhood to school completion.

 

This position is a Youth Employment Scheme (YES) Victorian State Government initiative designed to increase the workforce participation of young people and who identify as Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islanders.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aged between 15 and 29 years at the commencement of the traineeship
  • Not attained a university level qualification or currently engaged in tertiary education
  • Identify as Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander

 

This is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Designated Position, classified under ‘special measures’ of section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.
