Painting & Decorating Apprenticeship – RDP Painting

 

Westvic Staffing Solutions in partnership with RPD Painting – Ryan’s Painting & Decorating have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a full time apprentice.

 

Full time – 38 per week (4 day week)

 

All levels of experience from 1^st to 4^th year are encouraged to apply.

 

Duties will include, not limited to:

• Working both as a team member and independently to prepare surfaces for painting
• Brush, roll or spray paints, stains, varnishes and other finishes to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces
• Using a variety of equipment and tools
• Wash equipment and clean work areas

 

As the successful applicant, you will have:

• An interest in the painting and decorating field and pursue a career as a trades person
• Strong attention to detail
• Enthusiasm to learn
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors
• Willingness to travel between jobsites (mostly between the Surf Coast and Colac Otway areas)
• Excellent communication skills
• Attend trade school on a weekly basis
• Able to work as part of a team
