Westvic Staffing Solutions in partnership with Merri River School Warrnambool have the following traineeship opportunities to commence in January 2024:

  • Sport and Recreation Traineeship
  • Education Support Traineeship (Art and classroom support)
  • Education Support Traineeship (Cooking and classroom support)
  • Education Support Traineeship (Music and classroom support)

 

Sport and Recreation Trainee

This trainee will be placed in the Physical Education department and will work closely with teaching staff to deliver the sporting program to students. The successful applicant should have great time management skills, strong communication skills and can think on their feet. Possessing or having the ability to gain the Bronze Medallion Qualification is an advantage.

Demonstrated experience in working with children would be preferred.

Education Support Trainee (Music & Classroom Support)

The successful applicant will assist with Music & Classroom Support to ensure the smooth, efficient running of their programs, and support the general running of the school. The ideal candidate will display excellent time management skills, the ability to compete with numerous priorities and have great communication skills.

Demonstrated experience in working with children would be an advantage.

Education Support Trainee (Cooking & Classroom Support)

The successful applicant will assist students with the preparation of meals daily to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will possess an interest in food preparation and delivery, have excellent time management skills, the ability to compete with numerous priorities and have great communication skills.

Demonstrated experience in working with children would be an advantage.
