Multiple 2024 Opportunities – Moyne Shire – Port Fairy

Westvic Staffing Solutions in partnership with the Moyne Shire are excited to be offering traineeships and an apprenticeship located throughout the Moyne Shire.

These versatile positions will see the successful candidates work closely within a supportive team environment to complete a Certificate III level of qualification.

Positions include:

Business traineeships – Port Fairy

Both traineeships will be completing certificate III in Business working in the People and Culture and the Records Team starting January 2024.

The Records position will provide administrative support and perform a broad range of secretarial and administrative duties providing front counter customer service, assisting with processing/dispatch of incoming mail and outgoing, maintain records and assist with archiving of documents.

People and Culture position provides administrative support, performs a broad range of secretarial and administrative duties, assists with the operation and input of data into the computer systems, recruitment across the organisation by scheduling and booking interviews, updating employee personnel files and assist the payroll administration duties with the payroll team.

Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship – Koroit Depot

Assist in the management of Councils fleet, including the most cost-efficient maintenance and repair regime of Council owned machinery. You will be directed by the fleet supervisor to ensure Council vehicles are maintained in a roadworthy and serviceable condition. The successful applicant will have the ability to learn the various capabilities of plant, follow workshop manuals practices and learn to manufacture, repair items using OXY welding heating cutting and MIG TIG ARK welding.

The above positions will see the successful applicants working alongside supportive teams that will encourage their growth in the industry. The positions are perfect for anyone looking to start their career in the industry or waning to change careers and gain new skills.
