Westvic Staffing Solutions in partnership with a number of busy cafes, restaurants and pubs/hotel within the Central Highlands region are looking for a dedicated and reliable Hospitality Trainee to join their hospitality team. There are a number of different roles

• Experienced barista
• Front of house staff
• Kitchenhand
• Bartending
• Commercial Cook

You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a delightful experience for our guests.  Some roles there is no experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and have a great personality.

Position Available: Certificate III in Hospitality Traineeship & Commercial Cook Apprenticeship

Responsibilities

Hospitality Traineeship

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take orders and serve food
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
• Clear tables and maintain a clean retail space
• Handle cash/EFT and process payments accurately

Commercial Cook Apprenticeship

• Take orders and prepare meals/food
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
• Following directions by the chef

To be considered for this opportunity you will have a good work ethic, a strong interest in the industry and the desire to learn new skills. 

The successful candidate for this position will have the following:

• A willingness to learn.
• Reliable and able to work weekends, nights and possibly split shifts
• Experience in hospitality is an advantage though not essential
• Great attitude and bubbly personality
